Making Snow Angels
i.
dancing merrily,
floating on a breeze,
snowflakes land in my hair
and on the tip of my nose.
I twirl and
dance,
making snow angels
I wish could fly.
ii.
"i've never seen snow," you told me.
So I put some in a box,
marked it fragile,
and shipped it to Florida.
But by the time it got there
all that was left was
a wet box and
a soggy note that said
thinking of you.
iii.
i lay in a snow bank
and think of kissing you,
my fingers and toes numb
(but i don't care)
iv.
i mailed you a ticket
so we could make snow angels
together
but it was
returned to sender
with a note that said
i prefer sand over snow.
v.
i don't make snow angels anymore.
they remind me of you.

The Ocean
The Ocean is a place of secrets,
Enveloping your possessions in with a seal.
It doesnt know what you drop-
Just eats it all up
Laying at its feet,
Worn boots and putrid fish
And old mens business suits
It holds the key to finding that odd sock and your car keys
Its dark with its ways of burglary it doesnt knock at your door.
It politely comes through your toilet and sink
And that glass of water you didnt drink.
It is your unmade bed that you forgot to clean
With its pillow of rocks, sheet of waves
As boats sleep on it and crumple the cover
And sea life frolics with its lover

This is my favorite if your work, so far. xD But I have much more to read, but anyway.
I really enjoyed this, even though it was a bit sad.
