past bone and muscle
twisting around marrow
and each vital organ
swimming up and down my bloodstream
traveling quickly
but slowly enough to make me lust for even more
yearning for another touch.
Your kiss teases the base of my spine
promising all that is to come
caressing my collarbone
and the flesh of my lips.
Your kiss whispers softly into
the shell of my ear
the things you'll do to deliver
me to ecstasy.
This is what I imagine lust tastes like:
fire and a million colors
burning the tip of my tongue.
